Biography

Born in Dunedin in 1949 and raised in Queenstown amongst a household of artists I was immersed ion beautiful art work and conversations around colour and light. However, I wasn't tempted to pick up a brush apart from studying art at School Certificate level by correspondence.
I moved to Invercargill for work, marriage and family, where my passion for gardening evolved into a home nursery.
We retired to Alexandra in 2013 where I continued to create gardens, aware of the way plants worked together and the way the environment dictated the choices I made. But there was something else I needed to do ..... In July 2024 at the age of 75, I bought a large canvas and paints and followed my heart.
